After you press go, look under each product listing and look for something like this: Future $: $26.62. This basically means that if someone you refer to the merchant’s website takes advantage of this offer, you will receive $26.62 each and every month until they decide to cancel their membership with the merchant.

Write a Blog Post

The next step is that you need to write a blog post for the product that you’ve selected to sell. Your article doesn’t have to be written like a novel and most of the time your visitors would only scan your page and will not read every word on your article.

Put in some product images which you can usually get from the merchant’s website. Most of the time the merchant’s website will have an affiliate section where you can get product images of different sizes.

Important thing to remember when writing a promotional article is that your content must be unique. Don’t copy the text from the merchant’s website, provide genuine reviews and good information to your readers.

Drive Traffic

If you have no traffic then you have no sales – it’s really that simple. Important thing to remember is that your traffic must be of high quality and highly targeted.

Basically you can drive traffic by using 2 methods:

• Paid Advertising – also known as PPC. Google Adwords and Yahoo Search Marketing are the more popular choices.
• Article Marketing – free method of driving targeted traffic to your website by writing articles and submitting them to article directories.
